Lead Quality Engineer

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related engineering discipline

Experience

• 10+ years in QA / software testing
• Experience in PLM or materials domain preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in manual testing (ISTQB preferred)
• Understanding of web-based application testing and CAE/FEA concepts
• Exposure to automation tools (Selenium/Playwright preferred)
• Working knowledge of Windows/Linux and databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Basic programming in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing for web-based engineering applications
• Design and execute functional and non-functional test strategies
• Perform requirement analysis, test design, execution, and defect tracking
• Act as customer-facing technical lead for issue analysis and solutioning
• Support and contribute to automation and AI-driven testing initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery
• Drive improvements in test coverage and efficiency

Preferred

• Agile/Scrum exposure
• Experience with security testing and CI/CD tools
