Automotive Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and other vehicle components.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper performance.
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
• Keep the work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently.

 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Experience using diagnostic scanners and hand/power tools.
• ASE Certification is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
