University degree in Logistics or other relevant field

Practical experience in service market logistics and planning

Experience in creating and executing training in a pedagogic manner

Excellent knowledge in theoretical logistics and stock management

Ability to clearly present and visualize conclusions and decision material

Strong ability in problem formulation

Excellent analytical and statistical skills

Excellent skills and experience in analytical methods

Machine learning experience is a merit Advanced Analytics at Service Market Logistics

We are now looking to extend the team with a Supply Chain & Analytics Expert.

You will find yourself in a stimulating environment, with senior experts as colleagues, with people who are driven by developing themselves and by bringing Volvo Groups service market logistics into the new era where we are actually able to process all the information at hand.

Advanced Analytics team within Service Market Logistics has the task to explore analytical methods and tools to reach deep insights that will develop the service market logistics.

We have a global scope currently with team members in Lyon, Gothenburg and Eskilstuna.

We are on a fantastic journey to develop future competitive differentiators for AB Volvo. The agenda will allow a good opportunity for the team to influence the direction for in analytics moving forward.

We are working with the full service market, ensuring customer service and an efficient supply chain where collaborative aspects with dealers and suppliers is of high importance and where the balance in our adaptive supply chain and our express supply chain is defining the cost levels. The advancement in availability of demand and supply information is enabling us to take the next step in logistics offers supporting customer requirements.

The scope covers all analysis methods and information related to Service Market Logistics responsibility and operation. It includes big data modeling, connectivity information models, multi-level and zero-level planning, integrated supply chain planning with point of sales forecasting.

Main responsibilities

Establish and develop a strong collaboration with stakeholders

Initiate, drive and support implementation and standardization

Collect data, analyze and develop improved ways of working

Drive for continuous development of customer knowledge and satisfaction

Develop and improve statistical and analytical methods
