About The Role

Main competence requirements

Master’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent

At least 5 years’ HR generalist experience

Business understanding and customer orientation with a drive for results and an ability to work and build relationships effectively in a global matrix organization with a broad range of client groups

Consulting skills, establishing a client relationship based on clear expectations and an agreement on deliverables

Ability to create and analyze HR data to establish reports and monitor policies and guidelines

High integrity and courage, understanding of interpersonal relationships and organizational development

Demonstrated experience in coaching and facilitation to help drive transformation and change in the organization

Communicative and with good influencing skills, able to create trustful relations

Fluent in written and spoken English

Flexible and self-managed, proactive deliveries and follow through, requiring minimal supervision

Solid conflict resolution skills which demonstrate confidence in own ability and analyzing data to question and challenge managers and other HR, resulting in sound conclusions thorough knowledge of HR processes and policies

We need to strengthen our capability in Sweden and are therefore looking for an HR professional with broad HR competence to work as an HR Business Partner.

The mission of the HR Business Partner is to advise and support management teams and individual managers on all HR related issues that drive business performance and contribute in meeting business goals. This involves translating business strategy into aligned HR plans and actions and ensuring they are delivered in the business.

Volvo Group Trucks Technology provides Volvo Group Trucks and Business Area's with state-of-the-art research, cutting-edge engineering, product planning and purchasing services, as well as aftermarket product support.

The primary responsibility of this HR Business Partner is to support the management teams in HR related issues that drive business performance and participate in delivering organizational goals. The HR Business Partner drives HR performance and executes HR strategies. This position will report directly to the Regional VP of Human Resources for Group Trucks Technology in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Provide HR operational support to managers which will ensure that HR operations deliver the talent and performance necessary for achieving business goals

Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, directives and processes within the organization you support

Secure that the organization complies with local employment laws and legislations, drive and coordinate labor relations and negotiations

Guide and support managers in decision-making and problem-solving on all HR related issues such as organization development and change activities, employee engagement work, recruitment and sourcing, career development activities, salary review

Ensure accuracy of HR reporting data including headcount and workforce planning forecasts

Coordinate with key HR personnel in the Service Delivery Model (SDM) to ensure effective joint delivery of HR services to the assigned organization (shared services). Full implementation of this model will be a key deliverable

Implement the worldwide policies and programs encompassing all aspects of Human Resource Management
