Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role

• Experience as an application technician
• Strong Shell script programming knowledge (Proficient in Python/Perl/Ruby is a plus)
• Strong Linux knowledge
• Good DB knowledge (SQL, NoSQL or similar)
• Good understanding of Support methodologies (ITIL)
• Customer support experience
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum), Continuous Integration/Delivery, Automated Deployment and System/Service monitoring

Your tasks

• Working hands-on with documenting solutions, Linux systems, Openstack and/or VMware clusters, Kubernetes cluster, Product CLI:s, scripting, protocol analyzers etc.
• Automation of IT services is a focus area for this position
• Create cost effective solutions through activities in IT and network design, planning and deployment
• Configure and integrate nodes and solutions into networks (new and existing)
• Maintain a stable environment and optimize the network elements and solutions as necessary
• Perform trouble shooting and customer support
• Drive continuous improvements of products and processes work as Application Support at our customers company.
• You will be tasked with:
• Eliminate problems by monitoring, analysing and grouping all incoming queries and problems
• Secure that users can pursue their professions through preventive support
• Provide information to customers in the event of operational disturbances
• Registration, initial support, prioritization and classification
• Prioritizing according to type, severity, SLA impact and work load
• Incident monitoring, tracking and communication
• Following the incident through until it is resolved
• Support, investigation and diagnosis

The Consultant roll

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
