Profile

The Price Realization Manager holds strong personal credibility, integrity and creativity. The preferred candidate is business minded and enjoys working in a fast changing environment combining sales, service market, finance and process & IT. Experience from retail and service operations or commercial controlling is considered as a merit.

The position holder is an active team worker, possessing strong interpersonal skills including ability to network effectively across different commercial sites. To be able to build enduring relationships within a matrix organization is essential for the position. In addition, we believe the applicant is used to working with analysis of large datasets and have a high proficiency level on office tools like Excel, Powerpoint and possibly PowerBI.

The Price Realization Manager has willingness and ability to travel as needed and as all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required.

Qualifications

University degree or MBA in business, engineering or equivalent experience

Minimum of 3 years relevant commercial experience

Commercial drive with business and customer focus

Retail experience and knowledge

Goal and business result oriented

Strategic mindset and organizational skills

Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing

Analytical skills as well as analysis tool experience

The total number of Volvo Workshops is around 1060 whereof single Volvo branded consists of around 540 and dual branded around 520 workshops. The number of wholly owned VTC Workshops is around 260 and Private dealer Workshops around 800.

Commercial Trucks & Fleet Sales, within Volvo Trucks Europe (VTE) is now looking for a talented and experienced Price Realization Manager to join the team at Sales Area office in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The purpose of the Price management function is to support and collaborate with the markets and the central fleet sales organization within Commercial Trucks & Fleet Sales with best practices and improved ways of working in the pricing area. This function has a critical role to secure VTE objectives, market share and secure the profitability within commercial trucks.

The position holder will be part of the Price Management team within Commercial Trucks & Fleet Sales and report to the Director Price Management. The position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement changes for improved price realization in collaboration with the markets
• Ensure that the Price Realization ways of working and processes are followed
• Support and follow up on Markets with the price realization setup and drive the change agenda

Develop Guidelines

Analyze and follow up price realization and financial & price targets related to new trucks sales

Price performance analysis on an overall level as needed

Support markets with questions related to price management tools such as Real Life Cycle Earnings tool and the Inquiry Manager (IM) tool

Participate as needed in common fora for Price Management related systems and processes

Give adequate support/guidance to different stakeholders in Volvo Group in terms of Price Management related topics
