REGIONAL CREDIT MANAGER

The job requires that you create a good network within and outside of Volvo Penta; therefore your ability to communicate and to work with people on different levels is also essential.

Profile & Qualifications

• University degree in accounting, finance or business administration, MBA preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of diversified credit and collection experience in a multinational company
• Good knowledge of accounting, finance, bankruptcy procedures, company tax and commercial law and Code of Commerce in relation to accounts receivable and payable
• Ability to analyze financial statements and make sound business decisions based on business conditions and trends
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
• Experienced in SAP, Microsoft Office and reporting tools
• Managerial experience preferred REGIONAL CREDIT MANAGER

VOLVO PENTA - REGION EUROPE

Volvo Penta Region Europe is now looking for a Regional Credit Manager reporting to the Vice President of Business Support Region Europe.

Main activities and Responsibility as Regional Credit Manager

Work closely with the market units in Europe to define needed credit limits and ensures appropriate management of risk in accordance with Volvo Group Directives

Train and support local credit controllers to set-up credit processes in alignment with pre-defined credit rules and procedures

Make financial analysis and credit recommendation

Participate to relevant committees representing the Region

Visit customers when required

Manage relationships with credit and insurance companies

Follow up A/R on a regular basis, manage customer account balances and address past due situations
