Manager Electrical Design

Business Unit Liquid Food (BU LF) is responsible for development and manufacturing of solutions, branded processing units and key components for the processing of liquid foods in the area of dairy, beverage and prepared food. We work closely with our clusters and customers to understand their true needs. To secure that we, create and convey our solutions that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its Customers. BU LF has approx. 460 employees in six main sites: Sweden, USA, India, Singapore, Switzerland and Denmark. What you will do As leader and Manager for the Electrical design team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining specialist capability within the organisation and secure that we deploy this knowledge globally. You will be a member of the Operations management team in Business Stream Beverage & Prepared Food. You will plan and manage the deliveries of electrical designs to our sites in Lund, China India and USA. You own the strategy of the department and its successful implementation. You will recruit the best competence and develop your team to world-class which are requested by both Clusters and customers. You will have a group of approx. 10 people, Electrical hardware designers reporting to you. The role is based in Lund, Sweden and will require limited travelling. You will focus on -Build and maintain capability within the Electrical design team -Secure that feedback related to design, quality and operation is handled -Plan and follow up objectives/budget for the department and direct reports -Securing that our designs complies with global and local electrical standards, as an example you will be holding our UL-file -Act as the link to our production facilities and to our global supplier management regarding electrical questions -Be representing BULF in electrical hardware forums within Tetra Pak Who you are To be successful in this role you need to be a professional, team-oriented leader. You like to work pro-actively and are used to be in an order delivery position that demands continues deliveries. You are eager to learn and share these learnings with your team. You are excellent at communication and networking. You have a Technical education preferably in electricity, and at least five years working experience from a managerial position, preferably from the processing or food industry.
