About The Role
The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Wyoming invites applications for an Assistant Lecturer/Program Director for the Graduate Program in Nutrition and Dietetics (GPND), Family and Consumer Sciences, nine-month academic year plus summer salary, extended term.
Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Human Nutrition and Food/GPND. These courses may include 1) food production/management; 2) professionalism in dietetics; 3) community nutrition; and 4) therapeutic nutrition. The individual will serve as the GPND Program Coordinator which is governed by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The position will also advise GPND students. Responsibilities will also include contributing to professional, departmental, and university service activities.
