About The Role

Required Qualifications

A university degree in Law or Finance and Business Administration

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the areas of Swedish as well as international VAT and other legal matters related to international trade, i.e. transfer prices, trade barriers etc.

Experience from defining and designing internal and external commercial flows from a legal perspective

Proven experience on delivering timely results

Beneficial if the applicant has knowledge of finance models of larger industrial companies

Fluent in English

Business Office is responsible for Finance, IT, Corporate Governance, Strategy and Security within Volvo Penta, all staff employed in Sweden with a global responsibility.

The function Global Financial Process Management is the biggest part of the Finance department, today consisting of six persons, covering Finance expertise and involvement in all main Volvo financial processes.

As a Director VAT and Commercial flows you will be responsible for the global coordination of legal matters related to Volvo Penta´s internal as well as external commercial flows. VAT, transfer prices and other issues from a legal company perspective will be your main responsibilities.

You will participate in and/or driving projects and therefor expected to act as the expert in matters related to VAT, taxes, commercial flows etc.

Your natural stakeholders will be, in addition to the commercial organization within Volvo Penta, other entities within the Volvo group as well as external parties such as tax- and customs authorities, insurance companies.

You will have support in your work, being part of an organization of experienced Global Financial Process managers but in your role you are expected and encouraged to take own initiatives and responsibilities.

The Director VAT and Commercial flows reports to the VP & Head of Finance.
