Perr&Knight is looking for an experienced Front End Developer to join their PK1Cloud Software team. This position will be a hybrid position working at least three days a week from one of our offices in Charlotte, NC, Boca Raton, FL or Newark, NJ.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborating closely with product and design teams to identify and implement optimal cloud-based front-end solutions.
- Participating in all phases of the software development life cycle: planning, requirements, development, testing, and deployment.
- Championing the adoption of modern front-end technologies and sharing expertise across the team.
- Defining and documenting best practices and strategies for modern front-end architecture and development.
- Mentoring and guiding front-end development teams in building visually compelling, user-centric business software.
- Ensuring application performance, scalability, and maintain high standards of code quality and design.
- Troubleshooting and resolving incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing proactive measures to prevent future issues.
- Anticipating and solving technical problems with a focus on business impact and productivity
- Advocating for user experience through thoughtful interface design and usability considerations
- Leveraging data to inform product and design decisions.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in UI design and development using modern technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Angular
- Deep expertise in Angular and front-end architecture
- Strong proficiency in RESTful APIs, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with cloud application deployment, preferably on AWS
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and SonarQube
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
- Proficient with Visual Studio, Git, JIRA, unit testing, debugging, and profiling in a Microsoft tech stack environment
