Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

Competences

• A proven track record of experience in the data analytics/data science field
• Advanced SQL skills (noSQL, SAP BO, SAP HANA knowledge is a plus)
• Experience using BI tool(s) such as QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI etc.
• Python or/and R expertise
• Not afraid to fail fast, fail often and learn from mistakes
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Driven by an internal curiosity and creativity to utilize machine learning and predictive modeling, staying on top of business intelligence trends and future technologies
• Genuine interest for developing and coaching people in emerging BI areas
• Entrepreneurial mentality with the ability to work in “white space” to create new solutions
• You are a fast learner and have a positive, can-do attitude
• Fluent in English and Swedish both written and verbal BI Analyst will be a member of Corporate IT Audit Function within Corporate Audit.

Challenges

Develop new data discovery solutions, based on business/auditor requirements, to support audit projects across all TB/BA/GF and bring additional value to Volvo Group

Move beyond compiling data and help tell the story behind the numbers by combining the right visuals and narrative with the right data to stimulate new perspectives and drive change

Use reporting and visualization to create answers to questions we do not even know yet – meaning you have a passion to uncover and make connections that are not always so clear to others

Enrich the existing landscape of data sources by identifying critical information needs and connecting them into our models through cross-functional partnership and collaboration

Work in agile environment with continuous improvement in mind, at the same time being pragmatic and focusing on the goals

About us

Corporate Audit team in the Volvo Group consists of approximately 35 auditors located at Volvo sites around the world. Corporate Audit is accountable to the CEO, Executive Vice President Corporate Legal & Compliance and the Audit Committee of the Volvo Group and provides independent assessment on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control activities and the systems managing risk within the Volvo Group.

Corporate IT Audit is function within Corporate Audit that is responsible for development and support of IT capabilities (including advanced data analytics) for assurance and consulting services.
