Bilingual Interpreter

DATAMARK, Inc. is currently seeking a professional and experienced Bilingual Medical Interpreter to join our team. The Bilingual Medical Interpreter will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers in medical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide verbal interpretation services to facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers
• Accurately and effectively interpret medical conversations, including patient history, diagnosis, treatment options, and instructions
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards
• Stay up to date on medical terminology and procedures

Requirements

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt to different dialects and accents
• Strong listening and comprehension skills
• Highly professional and empathetic demeanor
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Equipment Requirements for the Position:
• Computer : Intel Core i5 processor (8th generation or higher) or Ryzen 5 (series 3000+), minimum 4 cores/8 threads, 8–16 GB RAM, and a 256 GB SSD or larger.
• Connectivity: Use of an Ethernet cable is mandatory. VPN use is not allowed, and work must be performed only from the approved location.
• Audio: Wired headset with a boom microphone , unidirectional and with noise cancellation. Wireless devices, earbuds, and speakers are not allowed.
• Camera: 1080p resolution, 30–60 fps, and autofocus (built-in or external equivalent, such as Logitech C920).
• Restrictions: Storing company information, making recordings, screenshots, or using built-in translation features is strictly prohibited.
