Te Tūranga – About the role

As a Media Planner in our Precision Media team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the growth of our retail media business. You’ll develop and deliver integrated, insight-led media plans that connect supplier objectives with real customer outcomes.

Working alongside a passionate and high-performing team, you’ll bring strategy to life through commercially compelling campaigns across in-store, digital, offsite, and personalised channels.

This role has a strong commercial focus where you’ll help convert plans into revenue, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to achieving team targets, all while delivering exceptional customer and supplier outcomes.

Ngā kawenga – What you’ll be doing

Develop integrated media plans and annual communication roadmaps

Turn data and insights into clear, compelling campaign recommendations

Present and sell media plans, converting opportunities into booked activity

Build trusted relationships with supplier and agency partners

Analyse performance and share insights to inform future campaigns

Support pipeline tracking, forecasting, and revenue growth

Collaborate across media, insights, marketing, and operations teams

Contribute to new media solutions and service development

You’re a commercially minded and collaborative media professional who thrives on turning data and insight into impactful campaigns. You bring strong influencing and relationship-building skills and are confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll also bring

Experience in media planning, account management, retail media, FMCG, or agency environments

Strong understanding of media channels and data-led marketing

Confidence influencing stakeholders using data and storytelling

Excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

A proactive, analytical mindset with a focus on results
