About The Role
Responsibilities
- Development of projects: Develop detailed project plans and schedules, including timelines, resources, and budget
- Management: Manage project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure project delivery within defined parameters
- Project Planning & Initiation : Define scope, deliverables, and success criteria; develop robust business cases and integrated project plans that align with organizational goals.
- Execution & Delivery: Drive day-to-day operations by coordinating multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and vendors to ensure work meets quality standards.
- Stakeholder & Communication: Act as the central point of coordination between senior leaders and project teams, translating complex data into actionable status reports and dashboards.
- Governance & Reporting: Maintain rigorous project controls, including RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies) and financial trackers, ensuring full visibility into project health.
- Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify bottlenecks and manage formal change control processes to prevent uncontrolled scope creep.
- Commercial Oversight: Manage project budgets in collaboration with Finance and Procurement, tracking expenditure and ensuring value-for-money.
- Benefits Realisation: Ensure project outputs are successfully embedded into business-as-usual operations to achieve long-term strategic outcomes.
- Digital Innovation: Utilize modern project management platforms and data-driven insights to improve transparency and streamline delivery workflows.
- Lessons Learned: Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in project management, with experience leading cross-functional teams
- MUST have excellent command in using Microsoft Project & Microsoft Planner as Project Management tools.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans and schedules, manage project scope, budget, and schedule, and identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically to identify solutions to complex problems
- Experience with project management software and tools, including Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar tools is a plus.
- Project management certification, such as PMP or Prince2, is a plus
