Qualifications

As our preferred candidate you are a MSc engineer, with good knowledge of the product development process. It is important that you have a positive mind and are interested in developing people as well as technology. You are also expected to have at least 5 years of experience from the automotive industry. Earlier management experience is a merit. You should possess solid English skills. Would you like to lead our development of the future driving environment for the premium products Volvo FH and FM? Do you enjoy developing both people and products? How about leading a team with highly qualified engineers and also being a part of Cab management team?

Group Manager for group Driving

Cab Gothenburg develop new and advanced cabs for our future trucks, while continually adapting our current products to different market demands. The development is done with our customers in focus and in a positive and open minded atmosphere.

The group is responsible for the full product life cycle of the Driving area. This includes seats, instrument panel, door panels, steering column, steering wheel including airbag, pedals and accessories. In actions this means planning and development of engineering solutions globally and cross functionally in cooperation with other Volvo GTT engineering offices in order to strengthen the product offering for our customers.
