HVDC Control Engineer - Relocation to Bavaria, Germany

The Role

• Design of open and closed loop control systems for high voltage direct current systems (HVDC)
• Preparation of design specifications and documentation
• Clarification of technical requirements within project teams as well as with customers and suppliers
• Implementation of control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK as well as verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments
• Remote support during the commissioning and service of HVDC systems

You

• University degree in electrical engineering with focus on energy and control technology and profound professional experience
• Good knowledge of converter- and high voltage technology, as well as in open and closed-loop controls
• Good MATLAB/SIMULINK knowledge including model-based implementation and verification
• Experience in the configuration of automation systems, preferably SIMATIC TDC / S7
• Excellent English language skills, and German language skills are of advantage
