About The Role

Role Summary

The Nordics Senior Finance Manager will have responsibility for the financial management for Sweden, Norway, FInland and Iceland. They will report into the Senior Finance Manager for North Europe.

Essential Responsibilities

Chief Financial Officer for the legal entity, GE Power Sweden AB

Manage, develop and empower local Finance team

Partner with the Nordics Operations team to drive profitable growth by providing analysis and key metrics, while advising the North Europe leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions

Provide a high level of customer service to the Operations, Commercial and other GE functions; supporting operating reviews and contractual negotiations

Ensure reporting requirements and deadlines are met by facilitating and coordinating efforts across multiple functions

Perform and review closing account reconciliations

Drive cash generation opportunities including financing solutions support on new deals

Co-operate and interact, with key stakeholders; external auditors, internal auditors for SOX and internal process compliance; ensuring completion of all necessary requirements

To help drive and support the business strategy

Drive reporting and estimation simplification and consistency across the Nordics Region

Support significant, broad initiatives across the North Europe finance community

Stay connected with current macroeconomic and market trends, identifying relationships and potential impacts to current business outlook

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Significant finance experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or recognised professional finance qualification (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
  • Flexibility to prioritise assignments and meet strict deadlines is crucial

Fluent in English and Swedish
