Casual Operator/Labourer

The Town of Bishop’s Falls is currently accepting applications for casual Operators/Labourers who primarily work in the Public Works Department and are responsible for the following:

• Operating heavy equipment to implement public works services and programs.
• Maintaining the Town’s infrastructure.

Casual Operators/Labourers may voluntarily join the Recreation Department's casual call-in list where they will be responsible for the following:

• Working in the Pat O’Reilly Memorial Stadium.
• Maintaining recreation facilities.
• Assisting with recreation programs and events.

To qualify for this job, you need the following

• Class 3 (Tandem)
• Class 5 (Standard Driver’s Licence)
• Class 8 (Traction)
• Class 9 (Air Brakes)
• Experience in operating heavy equipment
• Clean Driver’s Abstract (Recent)

• Wages, benefits, and other employment terms outlined in the Collective Agreement between the Town and CUPE Local 1349 apply.
