Material & Planning Manager

Role Summary: To the Chemical Plant in Uppsala, we are searching for a candidate to lead production planning and material supply in our unit providing products to the biopharmaceutical industry globally. Essential Responsibilities: This position will beresponsible for all production planning, distribution planning and procurementof all direct material. Recognized as a professional expert, leads a team and a complex function. Products are world leading in its field and produced in highly specialized process environment. Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment withproduction plan and KPIs Optimize inventory and process improvements Lead weekly PSI/SOP process to evaluate capacity, material availability, inventory estimates and customer fulfillment. Has authority in the network of experts and in project teams. Responsible for developing long term strategy to drive continued improvement of inventory, turns and fulfillment. Support/coordinate together with sourcing efforts to reduce material cost and lead time reduction. Present product strategies, road maps, risks and recommendations to senior leaders. Provide input and influence decisions within own discipline and area. Communicate recommendations and solutions across direct organization and with cross-functional partner organizations. Involved in complex decisionmaking with internal and external parties. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience. Extensive experience in Materials Planning and Execution. Desired Characteristics: MBA or Master Degree or equivalent knowledge or experience APICS Certification Oracle knowledge and experience Six Sigma Green Belt Strong interpersonal andleadership skills.
