Industrial Service Engineer

Required knowledge, experience

• Bachelor of Science within Technical education, or gained equivalent experience
• Skilled in mechanics and electronics
• Knowledge in diagnostic tools and software
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Any other European language skills are highly appreciated
• Aftermarket business experience is a great advantage

A passion for technical solutions and a strong analytic and problem solving skills

Good negotiation skills

A strategic and long term approach to develop the business area

Team oriented and with the ability to work alone

Ability to manage peaks in workload

As an Industrial Service Engineer you will contribute to this by taking on the role as a Key player within the Nordic market, our Industrial OEM customers and dealer network

Main activities and responsibilities

Your main task within this role is to secure a fast and qualitative technical support for the complete Volvo Penta Industrial engine and product range to our OEMs, dealers and end users

The position includes validation of warranty cases, Quality follow up and travelling mainly within Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

You will work closely with other functions within the team: Parts, Engine Sales, Aftermarket development and Technical Training and also interface with central functions for resolving certain quality issues.

You will cooperate with other regions, with the end customers and OEMs concerning technical issues.

The position as an Industrial Service Engineer for Industrial engines and equipment is a position which enables MU Nordic to build life cycle relations with customers and OEMs and to develop valuable support to our Dealer network.

You will have both an operative role as well as be a part of developing our strategy to create an even more valuable support to our OEMs and dealer network.
