Qualifications and Personal Profile

You have a University Degree preferably in Engineering

You have significant experience of manufacturing or product development process and it is also advantageous if you have previous experience of a leading position

You have great skills in written and spoken Swedish as well as English

Good leader with the courage and integrity needed to drive and implement changes

Team oriented person with strong interest in people development, it is important that you see the people in your team as individuals with different coaching-, confirmation- and development needs

Good Lean knowledge or equivalent (Volvo Production System)

Ability to work in cross functional environment and matrix organization

Ability for strategic items

Understanding of industrial and market environment

Customer focus with good communication skills

Experience from change management is preferable

Experience from Production process/Production engineering/Product development

Well organized with interest to develop structure, methods and tools

The Customer (CA) Adaptation Engineering in the Tuve Plant is looking for a manager.

CA Engineering is a group within the Engineering and Maintenance department and consists of 12 co-workers with the main tasks to support production with product and process changes for customer- adapted solutions with introduction on daily basis. They also focus on continuous improvements and cooperation about synergies with the two other teams working with production engineering tasks for the standard product.

Your role will be to manage and develop the group in order to support the vision of the Tuve plant: “We shall be a leader in sustainable truck production”. You will be part of the management team of the Engineering and Maintenance department and report to the Engineering and Maintenance director.

Within the Engineering Management Team we share a cooperative, supportive & open atmosphere. Our Management Team drives a result oriented operation with care for our customers, collaborators and colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

Support Production with engineering solutions

Lead the team to improve the way of working (X functional work)

Lead, develop and retain team members

Test ideas and implement change management

Lead and follow-up the team Key Performance Index´s

Participate in cross functional meetings

Contribute as a member of the Engineering and Maintenance management team and CA management team

Continuously work to develop and improve the business process
