THE BACKGROUND

For our client, a European Institution based in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Expert to join a long-term mission in a major EU Institution , For the needs of the client, you need be based in the area of Brussels (~2 hours by ground transportation) to work hybrid (in-office 2-3 times a week) .

More specifically, you will be responsible for…

• Creation and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence Solutions (Data Lakes / DataLakehouses);
• Designing architectures both on the cloud and on premises (whether hosting or cloud on-premises) or combination of both (hybrid);
• Gathering business requirements;
• Designing ETL processes;
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Data virtualization;
• Physical DB design and performance analysis;
• Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes;
• Elaboration of test programs
• Writing of technical documentation;
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
• Provision of security studies, security assessments or other security matters associated with information system projects;
• Participation in meetings with other project teams.
