As a Production Operator in our advanced Holdrege m anufacturing facility , you’ll help build life-changing insulin delivery syringes and alcohol swabs that support and positively impact millions globally . This is work that matters—and we ’ll make sure you’re supported every step of the way.

The Holdrege manufacturing facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, producing 2.3 billion medical devices annually. Our team includes approximately 450 people across our operation on both day and night shifts.

We are currently hiring for production operators for a 12 hour night shift.

What Does a Production Operator Do?

As a Production Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing process. Here’s what your typical day might look like:

  • Gown up with the required PPE (personal protective equipment) and safety shoes.
  • Start your shift by checking in with your team and reviewing the day’s goals.
  • Depending on whether you work in Molding, Assembly, Packaging or Warehouse, you will s et up and operate the relevant machines and equipment that mold, assemble and package our insulin syringes and alcohol swabs.
  • Regularly throughout your shift, you will inspect the products and perform in-process checks to ensure products meet our high quality standards and regulatory requirements .
  • Complet ing inspection and quality documentation is the norm in a highly regulated medical devices facility and will be a critical part of your role
  • At times, you will move raw material supplies and finished products to the necessary locations in the facility.
  • You will continually monitor the equipment for output and issues and help problem - solve efficiently and quickly should something go wrong.
  • You will work as part of a highly engaged team to keep everything running smoothly and safely , with safety being your high est priority.

Paperwork Matters

In this role, accurate paperwork is essential. It helps us prove our products are safe, meet our regulatory requirements and ensures we can trace and fix any issues quickly. If you're detail-oriented and like doing things right, this is the job for you!

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience working with or fixing manufacturing equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail in reading and completing product quality checks and documentation .
  • Comfortable using computers and basic software like Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Reliable, organized, and ready to learn
  • An innate focus on safety , naturally integrat ing safety considerations into your daily work and decision making
