Requirements Engineering & Business Analysis

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, technical, and non-functional requirements through workshops, interviews, process reviews, and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain:
• User stories and acceptance criteria
• Process flows and end-to-end workflow diagrams
• Data mappings and interface specifications
• Traceability matrices
• Perform as-is and to-be process analysis to identify:

Test Strategy, Test Design & Quality Engineering

• Design comprehensive, scalable, and reusable test coverage aligned to business requirements and enterprise quality standards.
• Create:

• Positive and negative test scenarios
• End-to-end workflow validation scenarios
• Regression and risk-based testing coverage
• Apply advanced testing methodologies including:
• Boundary value analysis
• Equivalence partitioning
• Decision table testing
• State transition testing
• Exploratory testing
• Maintain full traceability from requirements through test execution and defect resolution.
• Ensure testing artifacts are modular, reusable, and automation-ready.

Manual Testing & Validation Expertise

• Execute and support:
• Functional testing
• Integration testing
• System testing
• Regression testing
• Smoke and sanity testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• API and interface validation
• Data validation testing
• Cross-browser and responsive testing
• Validate real-world business workflows and exception scenarios to ensure operational readiness and client impact mitigation.
• Partner with business stakeholders to validate outcomes and ensure solutions meet business objectives and regulatory expectations.

Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis

• Manage defects throughout the software lifecycle by:
• Writing detailed and reproducible defect tickets
• Performing root cause and impact analysis
• Assessing severity and business priority
• Gathering supporting evidence including logs, screenshots, API payloads, and database validations
• Participate in defect triage and release readiness discussions.
• Analyze recurring defect patterns and recommend process, control, or solution improvements.

Automation Readiness & Modern QA Practices

• Design automation-friendly test assets through:
• Reusable workflows
• Parameterized test data
• Stable object identification
• Independent and modular execution paths
• Understand automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and API/UI automation concepts.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to support scalable regression automation initiatives.
• Support modern QA and engineering practices including:
• AI-assisted testing
• API-first testing
• Shift-left testing
• Performance and scalability testing
• Observability and monitoring
