Job Summary
As a Rope Access Supervisor, you will
- Lead and supervise rope access teams on-site
- Plan and execute complex high-level works
- Act as the principal safety supervisor and lead technician
- Manage advanced rigging operations
- Ensure 100% compliance with international safety standards
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Supervise rope access operations, including high-rise exterior cleaning
- Ensure work is executed without disrupting guest privacy or hotel aesthetics
- Perform and oversee advanced rigging operations
- Conduct inspections and repairs of architectural elements, signage, roofs, and exterior lighting
- Operate scaffolding and alternative machinery (e.g., boom lifts)
Equipment Management
- Monitor all rope access equipment and gear
- Conduct detailed inspections and ensure compliance logs are maintained
- Evaluate equipment for safe usage and retirement
Coordination & Planning
- Schedule high-impact tasks during off-peak hours or low occupancy periods
- Align operations with hotel standards and guest experience expectations
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to international safety regulations
- Lead safety briefings and ensure all team members follow protocols
Requirements
Qualifications
- IRATA Level 2 or 3 Certification (Level 3 preferred)
- Minimum 2,000 logged rope access hours
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Working at Heights Certificate
- Certified in scaffolding or equipment such as boom lifts
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a comparable environment
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
Skills
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
- Basic to advanced computer skills
- Good English communication (written & verbal)
