Operations/Automation Instructors for Petrochemical Storage Tanks

About The Role
- ISS International SpA is looking for Operations/Automation Instructors for a short course related to a Storage Tank Area in a petrochemical plant in Poland .
- Classroom Training will be addressed in English to operation technicians/supervisors of the relevant units.
Main topics will be
- IST storage tanks - construction, maintenance, maintenance preparation
- Emergency procedures in case of: no KiA, no electricity, no DeMi water supply, no BW, no LS and MSS steam, no FG
- limits of the installation during start-up and shutdown (rate of increasing/decreasing temperatures after furnaces; rate of increasing pressure reduction), MPT for devices
- Sampling from IST storage tanks
- Water remowing from the reactor system after maintenance works (draining from low points? Where?)
- FF systems: sprinkler system (what is protected, how to activate); water/foam monitors (location, operating instructions); steam rings (how to activate); steam to the F2 furnace pipes (where/how/when to activate); steam to the furnace chamber (where/how/when to activate)
- HC and H2S sensor systems (quantity, location, alarm thresholds, method of accepting/silencing alarms)
- UV/VIS sensors (location, method of informing about activation)
- Cable sensors (location, method of informing about activation)
- Sound system (loadspeakers)
- CCTV system (number of cameras, method of operation)
- Location of emergency stop buttons located on the unit
- Eye washers, showers (type, method of use)
- Emergency lighting
- Emergency diesel generator (what is energized and when it will be activated)
- Diagnostic systems in TIR cabinets (what is alarmed in DCS)
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in Operation/Production and/or Automation roles in Oil Refinery and/or Petrochemicals plants
- Minimum 2 years as instructor/trainer both in classroom and On the Job trainings
- English Fluency

- Location: Gdansk, Poland
- Start Date: beginning September 2026
- Duration: 4 days
- Working Schedule: 9 hours per day
- Type of contract: Consultant Agreement with ISS International S.p.A.
- Indicative gross daily rate: between 350 and 400 Euros, determined on the basis of experience, skills and applicable classification, according to objective and gender-neutral criteria.
- Additional allowances related to travel and/or territorial mobility may also be provided, where applicable, in accordance with the contractual and organisational terms set out for the project.
