About The Role
Summary
Lead the back-end production team to ensure efficient operation, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards within CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd. Oversee daily activities, optimize processes, and manage team performance to meet production targets.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the back-end production team, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure all production processes meet established quality control standards and specifications for can manufacturing.
- Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety audits and addressing any hazards promptly.
- Troubleshoot production issues and machine malfunctions, escalating complex problems to maintenance or engineering as needed.
- Train new team members on operational procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and report on team performance and output to management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, and contribute to their implementation.
- Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, output, and quality checks.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front-end production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth workflow.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing production, preferably in the can or packaging industry.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of quality control principles and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and production specifications.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
