Design Engineer

Educational Requirement

• BE Mech with 4-8 years of experience
• M.E/M.Tech Mechanical with 2-4 years of experience

1. To do and support design, prototyping and commercialization of different types of centrifugal pump series, specially canned motor pumps
2. Deliver product designs which complies various standards like API610, API685, ASME Sec. VIII
3. To do modelling and manufacturing drawings in UG NX
4. Preparation of various pump bill of materials in SAP
5. Preparation of Quality Control/Assurance plans
6. Co-ordinate with cross functional teams for developments
7. Overall support to product development regarding costing, standardization etc.

Technical Requirements

1. Exposure to design and development of Centrifugal pumps /canned motor pumps
2. Understanding of technical/component drawings
3. Understanding of various standards like API 610, API685, ASME, HI Standard
4. 3D modelling using UG NX
5. SAP proficiency
6. Knowledge of material selection and manufacturing
