MSA/CAL Technician

• Reviewing design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals.
• Ensuring manufacturing and test equipment is calibrated and tested, and products meet the organization’s and customers’ quality and product integrity requirements.
• Supporting operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
• Identifying root causes of problems in the production process, and recommending corrective measures.
• Analyzing incidents reported back from the field, and adapt internal guidelines accordingly.
• Analyzing data to identify trends in product quality or defects, to mitigate and prevent recurrence.

A job at this level

• Prepares workplace, materials, tools, device or test equipment as needed.
• Executes routine assembly, calibration or setup procedures, as part of the installation or testing process.
• Checks work quality provided, by accountably running and documenting prescribed test routines.
• Genrally supports more experienced technicians or engineers in their accountabilities.
