TYTAN Technologies GmbH · Munich, Bayern, Germany
About The Role
TYTAN Technologies
At TYTAN , we aim to set a global standard in autonomous air defense with AI-driven, cost-efficient systems that counter unmanned aerial threats at scale. We protect people. We protect critical infrastructure. We protect European sovereignty.
We are looking for a Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer to help design, implement, and validate GNC systems for small multicopter and eVTOL drones. The ideal candidate bridges control theory with hands-on software engineering and thrives in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary environment. You will work close to the aircraft, contributing to GNC systems from simulation through to flight.
Your roadmap to make an impact
- Contribute to the GNC lifecycle for small multicopter and eVTOL platforms (
- Help develop and validate flight dynamics models and control laws, and support their integration into the embedded flight software stack
- Contribute to autonomous behavior by implementing and refining flight modes, transitions, and failure handling
- Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and hands-on flight test campaigns, including data acquisition, analysis, and iterative tuning
- Collaborate closely with systems, airframe, avionics, and software teams to ensure GNC interfaces are well-defined and integration-ready
- Help maintain clear documentation of assumptions, architectures, and validation results
