About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting key accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and commission processing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience managing multiple financial processes, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accounts payable transactions, ensuring invoices are accurately coded, approved, and paid on time; prepare ACH payments and process checks
- Perform accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and credit applications; monitor aging reports and assist with past due collection efforts
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures
- Update customer and vendor address and tax information in our ERP system
- Handle sensitive information with care and discretion
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, timely work
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of Accounting experience with exposure to AP, AR, and general ledger accounting
- Experience with Oracle JD Edwards or similar ERP system
- Experience supporting internal and external audits
