Your Opportunity: Label Works, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for an Equipment Operator in our North Mankato, MN facility.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate digital printing equipment in compliance with job specifications and quality standards
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency
• Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity prior to runs
• Check plates for correct format and setup
• Visually inspect work throughout the run to ensure quality
• Coordinate with the production team to prioritize jobs and adjust schedules as needed
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements related to equipment and job duties

Your Shift

• 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

You Must Have

• Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• High degree of mechanical aptitude
• Good reading and comprehension skills

Requirements Within This Position

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer

• Must have ability to work with very close tolerances
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members
• High degree of analytical skills
• Good color discernment

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17 - 23. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
