About The Role
We're looking for an ambitious Newly Qualified Solicitor to join our award-winning Employment, Pensions & Immigration team at Brabners.
This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee solicitor due to qualify in 2026, or a recently qualified solicitor, to build their career within a highly regarded employment practice. You'll work alongside experienced lawyers advising a diverse client base ranging from SMEs and owner-managed businesses to large organisations across a variety of sectors.
From day one, you'll gain exposure to high-quality work, enjoy genuine responsibility and benefit from the support and mentoring needed to develop into a trusted employment law adviser.
This position is available in Manchester, Liverpool or Preston (Bamber Bridge).
THE ROLE & TEAM
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you'll advise on a broad range of employment matters, including
- Day-to-day employment law advice for employers
- Disciplinary, grievance and performance management issues
- Redundancy and restructuring projects
- Employment contracts, policies and handbooks
- Settlement agreements and exits
- TUPE matters
- Employment Tribunal claims and dispute resolution
- Corporate support work, including employment due diligence and transaction support
This role offers an excellent platform to develop both your technical expertise and client relationship skills within a leading employment practice.
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who
- Are due to qualify as a Solicitor in 2026 or have recently qualified
- Have completed at least one seat in Employment Law during their training contract
- Possess strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Have a genuine enthusiasm for employment law and delivering outstanding client service
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Are eager to learn and develop their career within a leading law firm
