Are you an Occupational Therapist who believes therapy is more than treatment — it’s transformation?

We’re looking for a compassionate, clinically skilled Licensed Occupational Therapist who is driven to help patients regain independence, mobility, and quality of life. In this role, you won’t just follow a treatment plan — you’ll lead care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and directly impact recovery outcomes every single day.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Make meaningful, measurable impact in patients’ lives
  • Lead and mentor a supportive therapy team
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary professionals
  • Play a key role in discharge planning and long-term success
  • Work in a respectful, patient-centered environment

What You’ll Do

🩺 Deliver Exceptional Patient Care

  • Complete patient evaluations within 24 hours (or one business day) of referral
  • Develop and implement individualized, goal-driven treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on therapy aligned with physician directives
  • Monitor progress and adjust care to maximize outcomes
  • Prepare patients and families for safe, confident discharge

👥 Lead & Collaborate

  • Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), aides, and students
  • Partner with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Participate in care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings
  • Provide in-service training and support to staff

🧠 Drive Clinical Excellence

  • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in accordance with state practice acts and payer guidelines
  • Facilitate caregiver education and maintenance programs
  • Recommend and coordinate durable medical equipment (braces, walkers, canes, adaptive devices, etc.)
  • Ensure therapy equipment remains safe and operational

What You Bring

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s or Doctorate preferred)
  • Active Ohio Occupational Therapist license in good standing
  • Commitment to ongoing continuing education

Skills & Strengths

  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to interpret and apply clinical, regulatory, and policy guidelines
  • Excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (Casamba, PointClickCare, or similar systems)
  • A positive, team-focused mindset

Physical & Work Environment

This role is active and hands-on. You’ll frequently stand, walk, reach, push/pull, and assist patients with mobility. The environment is professional, collaborative, and patient-focused, with reasonable accommodations available as needed.

The Difference You’ll Make

  • Every brace fitted.
  • Every adaptive device ordered.
  • Every caregiver trained.
  • Every milestone reached.
  • You help patients move from dependence to independence — and that’s life-changing work.
  • If you’re ready to grow your leadership skills, practice at the top of your license, and join a team that values excellence in rehabilitation, we’d love to meet you.
  • Apply today and help people reclaim their independence.
