  • the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a
  • highly motivated and passionate: As Facilities Technician you are
  • responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of
  • Chemical/Gas/Slurry distribution systems and equipment. You play the
  • pivotal role to ensure standard operating procedures are followed
  • accurately and reliably to ensure our fab follows highest
  • environmental protection standards. By performing laboratory testing
  • and systematic verification and alignment of measurements from various
  • instruments, sensors, and equipment our fab can run smoothly thanks to
  • your work. To ensure 24 hours operations, our Fab Technicians will
  • work in shift model in cooperation with other Technicians, Engineers,
  • and Managers to ensure that all process specifications are met at all
  • times. Job responsibilities Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe
  • workplace, follow all safety policies and procedures at all times and
  • make recommendations for continuous improvement of work method,
  • safety, materials-, and tool handling. Operates and controls systems &
  • equipment for Gas/Chemical and Slurries. Observes gauges, signals and
  • recording instruments to effectively monitor critical limits. Performs
  • standard diagnostics, monitor site performance indicators and perform
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for interruptions or incidents. Performs
  • troubleshooting, emergency and corrective maintenance, repair actions.
  • perform laboratory testing and complete chemical and gas container
  • change outs. Maintains log of gauge readings, shift throughput, and
  • equipment malfunctions. Patrols area to inspect equipment and record
  • tank levels and gauge readings, makes recipe adjustments to ensure
  • correct gas/chemical concentrations are blended for manufacturing
  • process equipment. Ensures processing conditions and process output
  • are within regulatory limits and alerting management of discrepancies.
  • Perform standard and non-standard equipment maintenance, repairs and
  • modifications to ensure smooth operations inline with environmental
  • protection requirements. Job Qualifications Eligible to work in
  • Germany and available for 3 months on-the-job training in Taiwan.
  • Chemical Technician or equivalent technical apprenticeship education
  • in Gas and Chemical Systems, Environmental Engineering, or a related
  • field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a facilities, utilities,
  • or Gas and Chemical water treatment related role. Fundamental
  • understanding of chemical and gas semiconductor distribution systems.
  • Pumping, filtration and automation. Willingness to work in a cleanroom
  • environment with rotating shifts or on-call duties. Deep interest in
  • mechanical, chemical, and electrical principles related to Gas and
  • Chemical water treatment systems. Language Skills: Good command of
  • English with good command of German to communicate in our
  • international workplace. Professional Skills: Basic computer skills,
  • ability to learn usage of standard maintenance and process monitoring
  • software. Able to read and interpret technical manuals and process
  • schematics. Capable of working independently and cooperatively with
  • other Technicians, Engineers, and Managers with a strong attention to
  • detail, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving. Personal
