About us European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) is a

engagierte/n: Senior Specialist Import / Export & Trade Compliance
(m/f/d) As part of the logistics and supply chain team, you will
support the setup of import and export operations for a new
semiconductor manufacturing facility in Dresden. In this role, you
will work in an international environment and contribute to building
the logistics and global trade processes of a fast-growing high-tech
organization. The position combines hands-on operational work with the
opportunity to shape and improve logistics and trade compliance
structures during the ramp-up phase of the site. This role is designed
for professionals with experience in customs, import/export or trade
compliance in an industrial environment. As part of the onboarding
process, this role includes international training with global teams,
including training in Taiwan and USA. Tasks 1. Coordinate and manage
international inbound and outbound shipments in collaboration with
logistics service providers and internal stakeholders. 2. Ensure
compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations, including
tariff classification, documentation and customs clearance processes.

Support export control and trade compliance activities such as

sanction list screening, embargo checks and export license related
processes. 4. Contribute to the development and implementation of
import/export procedures and logistics workflows as part of a
greenfield manufacturing project. 5. Monitor logistics service
providers and ensure operational performance and compliance with
defined KPIs. 6. Collaborate with internal departments, international
suppliers, logistics partners and relevant authorities. 7. Support the
alignment of local logistics workflows with global processes and
systems. 8. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in
logistics and global trade processes. Profile 1. Bachelor’s degree
or comparable qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management,
Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field. 2.
Minimum 7 years of experience in international logistics, customs or
trade compliance, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing
environment. 3. Solid understanding of import/export processes and
customs regulations. 4. Experience with topics such as tariff
classification, export control, sanction list screening or customs
compliance is highly desirable. 5. Experience working with SAP systems
(preferably SAP S/4HANA) is considered an advantage. 6. Ability to
work effectively in a dynamic project environment and contribute to
building new processes and structures. 7. Strong communication skills
and the ability to collaborate with international teams and external
partners. 8. Fluent German and good English skills. 9. Willingness to
participate in an international onboarding program including 4-6 weeks
of training in Taiwan and Arizona (USA). Mandarin language skills are
considered a plus but are not required. Location: Dresden, Germany.
