  • the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a
  • highly motivated and passionate: As Facilities Technician you are
  • responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of of a
  • variety of Mechanical systems, Air Abatement Systems (AAS), HVAC
  • Systems, Cleanroom including Airborne Molecular Contamination,
  • Centralized and local Air Pollution Control systems & equipment. You
  • play the pivotal role to ensure standard operating procedures are
  • followed accurately and reliably to ensure our fab follows highest
  • environmental protection standards. By performing laboratory testing
  • and systematic verification and alignment of measurements from various
  • instruments, sensors, and equipment our fab can run smoothly thanks to
  • your work. To ensure 24 hours operations, our Fab Technicians will
  • work in shift model in cooperation with other Technicians, Engineers,
  • and Managers to ensure that all process specifications are met at all
  • times. Job responsibilities Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe
  • workplace, follow all safety policies and procedures at all times and
  • make recommendations for continuous improvement of work method,
  • safety, materials-, and tool handling. Operates and controls systems &
  • equipment for Air Abatement Systems (AAS), HVAC, Cleanroom, Airborne
  • Molecular Contamination (AMC), Centralized and local Air Pollution
  • Control. Observes gauges, signals and recording instruments turns
  • valves, moves controls to regulate temperatures, pressures, flow of
  • heating water, coolant to effectively monitor critical limits as well
  • as chemical constituents through system to effect prescribed reaction
  • within critical limits. Performs standard diagnostics, monitor site
  • performance indicators and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for
  • interruptions or incidents. Performs troubleshooting, emergency and
  • corrective maintenance and repair actions. Performs diagnostic to
  • determine root cause and corrective actions needed to maintain systems
  • operation within specifications in conformity with plant standards.
  • Maintains log of gauge readings, shift throughput, and equipment
  • malfunctions. Patrols area to inspect equipment and record tank levels
  • and gauge readings. Ensures processing conditions and process output
  • are within regulatory limits and alerting management of discrepancies.
  • Perform standard and non-standard equipment maintenance, repairs and
  • modifications to ensure smooth operations inline with environmental
  • protection requirements. Job Qualifications Eligible to work in
  • Germany and available for 3 months on-the-job training in Taiwan.
  • Technician or equivalent technical apprenticeship education in
  • building technology, utility system or a related field. Minimum 2–3
  • years of experience in a facilities, utilities, or mechanical related
  • role. Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment with rotating
  • shifts or on-call duties. Deep interest in mechanical, chemical, and

electrical principles related to mechanical systems. Language Skills

  • Good command of English with good command of German to communicate in
  • our international workplace. Professional Skills: Basic computer
  • skills, ability to learn usage of standard maintenance and process
  • monitoring software. Able to read and interpret technical manuals and
  • process schematics. Capable of working independently and cooperatively
  • with other Technicians, Engineers, and Managers with a strong
  • attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving.
