Web Developer

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Designs, builds and maintains the website and software application.
2. Uses scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
3. Confers with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
4. Directs or performs Website updates.
5. Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
6. Edits, writes, or designs website content, and directs team members who produce content.
7. Maintains an understanding of the latest web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
8. Backs up files from websites to local directories for recovery.
9. Identifies problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and corrects or refers problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
10. Evaluate codes to ensure they meet industry standards, is valid, are properly structured, and are compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
11. Determines user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
12. Performs other functions that may be assigned by the superior from time to time

Job Specifications

• Bachelor's degree in Web development or related field, or relevant experience.
• At least half a year or 1 year experience
• Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
• Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficient in My SQL.
• Familiarity with Shopify is an advantage
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid ability in both written and verbal communication.
• Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
• A high degree of independent judgment.
• Able to solve complex problems.
• Dedicated team player.
