- As part of our continuous
- growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Site Supervisor to join our team,
- based at our Headquarters in Piraeus.
Role Overview
- The successful candidate
- will be responsible for supporting and supervising asbestos removal projects
- throughout all implementation phases, including site inspections, project
- costing, work planning, and on-site supervision, ensuring full compliance
- with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Inspections & Project Assessment
- Conduct site visits and technical inspections.
- Record quantities and assess project requirements.
- Participate in the preparation of work methodologies and site organization plans.
- Evaluate operational challenges and propose practical solutions.
- Project Costing & Planning
- Prepare cost estimates for asbestos removal projects.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Site Supervision & Project Execution
- Supervise asbestos removal works and field operations.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure proper implementation of approved work procedures.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Monitor the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and company procedures regarding asbestos handling and removal.
Requirements
Professional Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in site supervision, project management, project costing, or field engineering roles.
- Experience in construction, industrial, environmental, demolition, remediation, or infrastructure projects will be considered an asset.
- Experience in work-at-height operations and the use of construction machinery/equipment will be highly appreciated.
Academic Background & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (University or Technological Institution) in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Additional HSE or project management certifications will be considered an advantage.
Languages & Technical Capabilities
- Good command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driving license.
