About the Role
- Due to our continuous growth, GREEN is seeking a passionate and hands-on Site Manager to join our team and support the implementation and development of renewable energy projects.
- The successful candidate will be actively involved in wind and solar PV projects, contributing to design, construction supervision, plant monitoring, and technical administration.
- This is a full-time, permanent position based in Attica.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring all construction activities run smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate and supervise multiple construction teams and subcontractors.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, tracking progress against key milestones.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and internal Quality Assurance standards.
- Monitor project budgets and support cost control and procurement processes.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering department to align construction with technical requirements.
- Maintain communication with client representatives, stakeholders, and Project Managers to provide consistent updates and reporting.
- Prepare and submit daily reports, documentation, and site record.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage on-site crises and unforeseen challenges effectively and promptly.
Requirements
Professional Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the execution of construction works, preferably in heavy industry projects, such as powerplants, refineries, or similar infrastructure.
- Proven track record in handling large-scale structures, heavy lifting operations, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in enforcing HSE regulations and applying safety protocols on complex work sites.
- Commissioning and decommissioning experience will be considered an asset.
Academic Background & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Postgraduate certifications in project management, construction safety, or related fields are considered a plus.
Languages & Technical Capabilities
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
- Additional knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
- Strong computer literacy: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
- Experience in reporting and documentation using digital tools.
- Familiarity with MS Project or other project planning tools is considered a plus.

- Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple workstreams under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Decisive and proactive problem solver with excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
- High-level understanding and application of HSE principles.
- Client-focused mindset with experience in client handling and external communications, ideally in multinational environments.
- Ability to maintain performance and clarity during crisis situations.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and resourceful — a “doer mentality” and thinking outside the box approach.
