About The Role

Oversees product movement needs across the Domestic forward warehouse network. Handles both long-term capacity forecasting and day-to-day storage, utilization, and movement requirements to achieve target service levels and operational efficiency. Ensures alignment with the Global Supply team's primary focus areas: Safety, Quality, Service, Performance, and People. Collaborates directly with Site Leadership Teams and Supply Chain leaders to create inventory balancing and transportation strategies that support Global Supply and Blue Diamond objectives.

Analyzes different scenarios to detect risks affecting network capabilities and efficiency, recommending actionable solutions. Drives continuous improvement initiatives for network planning processes and systems. Acts as a network thought leader by promoting best-practice technology adoption that boosts margins. Maintains comprehensive understanding of both physical and systematic (SAP) material flows, including sourcing, inbound delivery, inventory, processing, warehousing, and distribution. Implement process enhancements with vendors and in distribution to improve quality, increase efficiency, and keep T&W costs low.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Performs data analysis on the following activities: Inventory, Production, Deployment, and Distribution to meet the information needs of Global Logistics Operations business partners.
  • Prepares short- and long-term storage plans to optimize space and product movement requirements.
  • Directs shipments from production plants to ensure DOS are appropriate and balanced against the demand for customers planned in those locations.
  • Collaborates with Site and Supply Chain leadership to establish, communicate and execute warehouse and logistics objectives in support.
  • Proactively monitors inventory accuracy, trace and tracking of product movement, alerting management to trends that impact asset accountability, and offers recommendations for meeting future requirements.
  • Develops and leads process improvement projects to automate or streamline deployment planning processes.
  • Plans and monitors product movement requirements and monitors on-time delivery.
  • Leads project teams and serves as subject matter expert for implementation of new tools and process improvements focused on the delivery of margin enhancement.
  • Stays abreast on cutting-edge technology through external education programs, benchmarking, or similar facilities and professional seminars.
  • Responsible for all inbound and outbound inventory movements in SAP. Ability to analyze and compare SAP with our partner’s warehouse management system. Supports multiple plants and co-manufacturing plants in the network.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of B2B customer service, supply chain management, or inventory management experience
  • Experience using Enterprise Requirements Planning systems, such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience executing job functions in a proactive manner
  • Ability to keep multiple projects on track simultaneously
  • Experience solving day-to-day operational problems
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage time and work under pressure
  • Experience applying analytical skills

Total minimum number of years of experience required in lieu of degree

  • 5 years of B2B customer service, supply chain management, or inventory management experience.
  • Would consider Hybrid/Remote Option

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Typical office environment with low levels of noise and fumes, adequate lighting and comfortable temperature. Use of 10-Key, computer, scanner, fax.
  • Office environment, hybrid model 3 days in office as business needs
