About The Role

Job Summary: The Guest Services Agent provides a friendly, welcoming, and caring greeting to each person entering Essentia Health. The agent anticipates visitor needs by offering and giving assistance, answering questions, and escorting or securing an escort for visitors when appropriate. The agent provides information and/or has knowledge of the Essentia campus and additional resources regarding our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answers and responds to internal and external calls.
  • Acts as a source of information for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Directs and escorts patients and visitors.
  • Delivers flowers and/or belongings to patients and staff.
  • Assists patients with finding community resources, including lodging, bus services, taxi services, etc.
  • Provides patient information as appropriate.
  • Assists people into the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in an information/hospitality desk or customer service environment.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 6 months.
