Stand Up Forklift Operator

Our cold storage warehouse in Richmond is looking for a forklift operator to join our team. This role is an important part of our warehouse operation, ensuring product is accurately pulled from storage.

AM and PM Shifts available

Hourly Rate: $21-$24

Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

What you'll be doing

While working on our refrigerated warehouse, you will

• Operate a stand-up reach forklift to pull and check large orders
• Use an RF scanner to scan pallets into the warehouse management system
• Receive inbound loads by pallets or cases
• Unload product from trailers, containers and trucks
• Stacking pallets
• At least 2 years of experience operating a stand-up reach forklift
• Experience in pulling and checking large orders
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Ability to understand lot #'s, FIFO, inventories, and warehouse safety
• Ability to drive an electric rider pallet jack is a plus
• Reliable, punctual and a team player with good communication skills
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. boxes and bags, along with standing and walking the entire shift
• Strong attention to detail and bsic math skills. Candidates hired into this role must successfully pass a basic warehouse assessment
• Successful candidates will be required to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen.
