Project Info

Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) is delivering enabling works at Osborne Naval Shipyard in South Australia, paving the way for the future Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard. The project will use an estimated 66 million work hours and 126,000 tonnes of structural steel, with the Fabrication Hall alone measuring 420 metres in length. ACCIONA is proud to partner with ANI to deliver this nationally significant program.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate rollers on bulk earthworks and pavement construction
• Complete daily plant pre-starts before each shift
• Follow the plan and grade marks set by the surveyor
• Work safely and wear all required safety gear
• Report faults or problems with the machine straight away
• Keep the work area clean and clear of hazards
• Work well with your team and follow instructions

Required Skills and Competencies

Capability & Experience

• Conduct Roller Operations ticket or VOC
• White Card (General construction induction)
• Experience operating rollers on civil or road projects
• Ideally experience on major infrastructure projects
• Current driver licence
