For the area of Global Legal, IP & Compliance located in Lenzing we invite Legal experts to submit applications for the role as 1 Legal Counsel Referenz-No.: 100003984 Unternehmensbereich Human Resources, Legal Management, M&A Position Mitarbeiter Arbeitsort Österreich, Lenzing Purpose & key responsibilities of the role * You will autonomously advise on, plan, lead, organize and control legal aspects regarding many jurisdictions and solve complex legal questions in relation to the group's business. * You will provide legal solutions and guidance on e.g. strategic projects, internal affairs, corporate law M&A or financings. * You will support the business on legal aspects of the businesses. * You will create and maintain standard forms and contracts (English and partially in German) and provide standard contract templates for internal stakeholders. * You will be part of national and international dispute resolution (court, arbitration, administrative proceedings). * You will engage and coordinate with external law firms. Our expectations for this exciting role * You hold a Master's degree in Law and have passed the bar exam. * You have 2-4 years of working experience as legal counsel in an internationally active law firm and / or in a global corporation with considerable experience in corporate law and governance. * You have intercultural sensitivity, strong negotiation skills, assertiveness and the ability to work with a truly global and multidisciplinary team. * Additional know-how in a special legal or commercial field is a plus. * You are fluent in both English and German.
