Retail Planner/Merchandiser

• 1-3 years of experience within merchandising, controlling or a similar function
• E-commerce or retail experience is a plus
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar is preferred
• Strong BI and Excel skills using VLOOKUP function and pivot tables
• Highly Analytical, structured and detail-oriented
• Number-cruncher with a passion for analysis and product
• Proactive and innovative approach to problem solving with a constant need to make improvements
• Multi-tasker who is good at planning their time efficiently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

You will join our Buying & Merchandising team to help us grow our online presence. Your analytical and out of the box thinking will help us achieve the best performance and continued growth. You will be accountable for sales forecasting, stock management and strategic decisions. You will be working closely with a Buying Manager to secure the optimal buy for the season and together you will be responsible for reaching the set targets season after season.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Analyze and forecast performance, stock and sell through in order to maximise commercial opportunities and identify risks
• Optimise turnover and profit through carefully conducted analysis on assigned area
• Take immediate action on missed opportunities in season as well as clearing non-performing styles
• Work closely with marketing to ensure strong seasonal campaigns and promotions
• Calculate and forecast optimal buying budgets for the season
• Support the buying efforts and handle buying analysis for your assigned category to ensure that the right selection of products is available on site
• Actively take part in planning and implementing the strategy for Buying & Merchandising, both short- and long-term
• Build strong working relationships with internal departments as well as external partners
• Collaborate with our Product and Logistics team to secure on time deliveries
• Assist with the development and training of our junior staff
