About The Role

  • You will lead sourcing and negotiation efforts (commercial and contracts) with suppliers to support our strategy and
  • meet the needs of key stakeholders, including Vodafone Business, Technology, Compliance and local Supply Chain.
  • Your mission is to deliver the optimal contract on time to maximize B2B contract value and margin, create
  • savings, and centrally manage spend targets while ensuring project delivery aligns with our global strategy and
  • standards (including our Code of Ethical Purchasing Policy and Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policy). You will innovate
  • commercial models, contribute to the category supplier or B2B partner/alliance roadmap, and make long-term
  • sourcing decisions during category development.

You will

  • Lead Supplier Selection and Negotiation: Develop and execute commercial strategies, negotiate contracts, and

achieve savings and cost efficiencies.

  • Optimize Supplier Performance: Drive strong commercial management to ensure business value is delivered and

competitive advantage is maintained.

  • Develop Category Strategy: Shape and support the category strategy for Enterprise, ensuring alignment with

overall business goals.

  • Build Strong Relationships: Foster and maintain robust relationships with Vodafone's stakeholders at both Group

and local market levels, ensuring continuous alignment with the category strategy.

  • Act as Primary Contact: Report to a Principal Category Manager and serve as SPOC for certain Global Categories

and products under Enterprise, Local Markets, Group Products.

  • Work Agile: Participate in and lead cross-category and cross-company projects, adapting to the dynamic needs of

the business.

  • Embrace Remote Collaboration: Leverage Microsoft Teams for seamless remote collaboration, ensuring effective

communication and teamwork across different locations.

  • Utilize Copilot: to enhance productivity and streamline tasks, enabling efficient management of your

responsibilities.

You need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or a related commercial

function

  • Experience supporting and leading RFIs/RFPs, supplier engagement, commercial evaluations, and negotiations
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present insights and

recommendations clearly

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing relationships across different cultures and

organisational levels

  • Ability to operate effectively in an international, matrix-based environment.
  • Proven ability to prioritise multiple activities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of technology, digital media, IT services, or telecommunications procurement markets
  • Experience monitoring KPIs, analysing commercial performance, and identifying business improvement

opportunities

  • Commercial acumen with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and provide market and supplier

insights

  • Experience managing contracts and supporting end-to-end sourcing activities would be considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of Vodafone markets, digital advertising technologies, retail media, unified communications, or related

technology ecosystems would be considered a plus
