Technical Assistant- Waste Operations Administration

Banyuwangi Hijau Programme

Location: Banyuwangi, Indonesia

• Initial contract: 3-month fixed-term contract, with potential extension subject to programme needs and performance
• Expected programme period: July 2026 to December 2027

Level: Technical Assistant

Background

Banyuwangi Hijau is a partnership programme with the Banyuwangi Government to accelerate solid waste service development across the regency. Effective programme implementation requires strong administrative, financial, logistical, and reporting support across Waste Operations activities.

Role Purpose

The Technical Assistant, Administration will support the administrative, financial, logistical, and reporting requirements of Waste Operations activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and track activity budgets.
• Maintain accurate administrative documentation and filing systems.
• Support reporting in line with Systemiq and donor requirements.
• Provide logistical support for field activities, meetings, and workshops.
• Maintain audit-ready programme records.
• Support data management and operational documentation activities.

Requirements

Candidates should have

• An S1 degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in administration, budgeting, reporting, logistics, or programme support.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good MS Excel and data management skills.
• Good written Bahasa Indonesia skills.
• Ability to manage documentation accurately and consistently.
• Willingness to be based in Banyuwangi.

Experience supporting donor-funded or government programmes would be an advantage.
