Key responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and monitor network equipment deployed across multiple data centres.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent network incidents.
• Diagnose network problems and restore affected services.
• Process technical requests from both customers and internal teams.
• Participate in the expansion and modernization of the company’s network infrastructure.
• Support the deployment of new network equipment and technologies.
• Assist with connecting new data centres and other infrastructure locations.
• Contribute to network automation and the improvement of operational processes.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and network records.
• Cooperate with other engineering and operational teams on infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of LAN and WAN concepts and technologies.
• Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols, particularly BGP and OSPF.
• Understanding of Layer 2 networking, including VLANs, the xSTP protocol family, and LACP.
• Familiarity with network redundancy technologies such as VRRP and link aggregation.
• Ability to carry out basic network diagnostics and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• At least an intermediate level of English, sufficient for reading technical documentation and communicating with customers.
• Strong learning ability and an interest in developing technical expertise.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to understand, organize, and analyze large volumes of new technical information, primarily in English.
• Nice to have
• Practical experience working with Extreme Networks, Juniper, or Nokia equipment.
• Knowledge of EVPN and/or MPLS technologies.
• Relevant certifications issued by networking equipment or software vendors.
• Previous experience in telecommunications, data-centre networking, or a similar infrastructure environment.
